Adept™ started in one of the most regulated industries there is: offshore drilling on the Norwegian shelf. The problem was clear. Thousands of requirements, many issuers, constant change, and inspectors who wanted proof. The tools were spreadsheets and binders.

We built Adept™ together with the people who had that problem. The platform has been developed with our customers ever since. Every feature exists because a compliance team needed it.

Adept Concept AS has been a separate company since 2011. We are owned by our founders and employees. Our head office is in Bergen.

Our requirements department follows regulators, standards bodies and publishers in every market our customers work in. They import new documents, break them down into single requirements and keep the library current. When a regulation changes, they make sure you know.

Cloud, AI and a long-term partner

Adept™ is a cloud service on Microsoft Azure. Our technology partner Webstep has worked with us since 2002. We have built AI into the platform since 2023, and the Adept™ AI Engine now works alongside our customers’ teams every day.
